I think I still want to tweak this one a bit more. The finished item above is much nicer than the one below where a skipping Y axis meant that it finished, but doesnt look like it should.

These little guys are impressive. They already have a bit of an alien vibe to them, so its easy to imagine them as little steampunk mechanical creatures.
